Senior leaders and members of the Australian Defence Force joined staff from the Australian War Memorial and members of the public for a special closing ceremony, where Chief of the Army Lieutenant General David Morrison and Regimental Sergeant Major – Army Warrant Officer David Ashley read the names of the 40 members killed on operations in Afghanistan.
