100529-M-4960Y-059 BANONGAN, INDONESIA (May 29, 2010) – U.S. Marines and Tentara Nasional Indonesia - Angkatan Laut (TNI-AL) marines find concealment in the tall grass of Banongan Beach. Both forces joined together for the amphibious landing phase of Naval Engagement Activity (NEA) Indonesia 2010. In its 16th year, NEA is part of the Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training series of bilateral exercises held annually in Southeast Asia to strengthen relationships and enhance force readiness.
