The Governor-General’s Banner is escorted by Australian Defence Force Academy midshipmen and officer cadets during the 2014 Chief of Defence Force Parade. *** Local Caption *** Chief of Defence Force, General David Hurley, AC, DSC hosted the Governor-General, Her Excellency, the Honourable Quentin Bryce, AC, CVO, along with other distinguished guests and families for the Chief of the Defence Force Parade on March 1 2014. The Parade marked the end of initial military training for around 340 midshipmen and Year One officer cadets at the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) as well as formally farewelling Her Excellency, the Honourable Quentin Bryce at her final military parade as Governor-General.
