As part of the Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands (RAMSI), members of the Participating Police Force (PPF) and Combined Task Force 635 (CTF 635) Civil Military Liaison (CML) team met with locals in the village of Vura, located 15km East of Honiara. During the visit the police met with the village chief to discuss taking part in an upcoming youth day in the area and took some time to chat and play games with the local children. Members of the PPF’s Community Police, often accompanied by CML members, travel to villages in the Solomon Islands to meet and discuss matters or issues with locals.
